The cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past are, quite literally, taking the world by storm.
Last month, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender (a.k.a. Wolverine, Professor X and Magneto) announced the “X-Men X-perience” global tour, which would take different members of the star-studded cast to seven major cities around the world.
As luck would have it, Singapore was on the list (among other much larger places like London, Melbourne and Beijing), and was selected as the only country in Southeast Asia to host the regional premiere. Local fans were also fortunate to have Hugh, one of the biggest stars in the staggering line-up, as one of the attendees.
Joining him on our shores were Fan Bing Bing and Peter Dinklage, two of the newest additions to the billion dollar-grossing franchise. Last night, the trio, who was previously in Beijing for the China leg of the trip, graced the blue carpet premiere at Shaw House. The event drew around 4,000 admirers, with some turning up at the venue as early as 9am that morning.
