Zhou Xun pulls out from collaboration with Nicholas Tse
After repeatedly making headlines for her alleged romance to Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse, Chinese actress Zhou Xun decided to withdraw her participation from the movie, Once in a lifetime, which the latter was also casted in.
According to Hong Kong media reports, Nicholas has not filmed a romancefilm for about ten years due to his commitments to ex-wife, Cecilia Cheung. This movie, which is invested by Emperor Entertainment Group, will serve as a comeback for the 32-year-old actor.
Rumour has it that Nicholas will be sharing a lot of intimate scenes with the female lead, Zhou Xun in his upcoming movie. To avoid awkwardness on set, the 38-year-old actress has decided to pull out of the movie.
With Zhou Xun’s withdrawal coming as a shock to the crew, the producer of the show was reported to have quickly found Chinese actress, Gao Yuanyuan as a replacement and the movie will begin its filming schedule at China in October as planned.
When asked to clarify about the change in lead actress, Nicholas’s tight-lipped manager retorted, “I have nothing to say as nothing has been confirmed yet.”
