Lamar Odom wants to win back Khloe Kardashian.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty served the professional basketball player divorce papers in early December, following months of rumours he cheated on her and was addicted to drugs, but the 34-year-old star hopes they will reconcile as he still loves her deeply.
Lamar, who was spotted wearing his wedding ring when he relocated to Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain earlier this week for three months to play basketball with Laboral Kutxa, told UsMagazine.com on Friday (21.02.14): ''I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what.''
Asked if they could reconcile in the future, he said: ''Who knows? We don't know exactly if [the divorce is going through]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife.''
Lamar, who has two children from a previous relationship, said that marrying Khloe, 29, in September 2009 was the one of the greatest decisions he's ever made and admitted he has a lot of regrets.
He said: ''Those were some of the best years of my life. Being married and being married to a woman I decided to marry was, besides having children, the most important thing in my life.''
The former LA Lakers star is currently focused on getting his career back on track.
He said: ''I've got a winner mentality, the mentality of a champion.''
