Rihanna to ignore dress code
Rihanna allegedly plans to ignore the new dress code at the Grammys and has selected something very sexy according to a friend
Rihanna is planning to ignore the strict new dress code at the Grammys.
The 'Stay' singer - who is planning to walk the red carpet with her boyfriend Chris Brown before the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night (10.02.13) - is reportedly planning to ignore the show's brand new ban on provocative clothing, which includes too much cleavage, side-boobs or butt cheeks.
A source close to the 24-year-old star told HollywoodLife.com: ''She will wear something very sexy by a few of her favourite designers. She really isn't trying to give anything away - that would ruin the whole damn surprise.''
The insider also revealed that Rihanna plans to stay close to Chris, 23, who is still on probation for beating her after a pre-Grammys party in 2009, throughout the event because she believes it marks a special moment in their reconciliation.
The source said: ''Rihanna's turned up and getting into that performers frame of mind right now. She's focused and looking forward the Grammys and [she] will be with Chris the whole night, so you know that's going to be extra f**king special. He already told her he would go with her, so it's a wrap.''
Rihanna is set to perform at the event alongside Sting and Bruno Mars and is nominated for three awards including Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Short Form Music Video for 'We Found Love'.
Chris is also nominated for one award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
Other stars to take the stage at the event include Taylor Swift, Mumford & Sons and Sir Elton John, who personally requested British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran to perform alongside him on stage.
Ed is nominated for the Song of the Year gong at the US awards ceremony for his hit single 'The A Team'.
