Snooki drops 42 pounds

The 25-year-old reality TV star - who gave birth to her first child Lorenzo in August with her fiance Jionni LaValle - has revealed she was determined to get back her pre-baby weight of 102 pounds so she could be a ''hot mom'' and is thrilled with her current figure.

The former 'Jersey Shore' star told an upcoming issue of US Weekly magazine, released on Friday (08.05.13): ''When you have a baby, everything changes.

''I lost it for me but I also wanted Jionni to know that I can be hot as a mom.''

In November, Snooki revealed she was putting pressure on herself to lose the last 20 pounds of her pregnancy weight and admitted she was unhappy with her body and the stretch marks on her stomach.

She said at the time: ''I have 20 more pounds to go. I'm hoping to lose it by my birthday on November 23. I won't feel good until I feel comfortable naked.

''I really don't like how I look. When you have a baby you get stretch marks and its all loose skin. Everything needs to go back to where it was.''

The petite star - whose real name is Nicole Polizzi - also previously revealed she was sticking to a strict diet in order to drop the pounds and not allowing herself any treats.

She said: ''All I eat is chicken, broccoli, spinach and salad.''
