[Ratings: Thurs, 12.13.12] 'Family' Marks the Rebirth of KBS Sitcoms

TV ratings for 12.13.12

With no real show to call its rival, KBS Family, previously known as Shut Up Family, has been grabbing the attention for its continuously evolving story of two incompatible and quite dysfunctional families actually coming to accept each other.

The 120 episode sitcom has recently entered into romance with Cha Ji Ho (Shin Ji Ho) confessing to Yeol Hee Bong (Park Hee Bon) that he likes her for some unknown reason, and continuously rising in number every week, making people wonder if KBS will not become the sitcom king.

MBC, which has been known for producing some of Korea's best sitcoms like Three Men, Three Women, Three Friends, High Kick series, and New Nonstop, announced that the station will no longer produce sitcoms.

Meanwhile, MBC's I Miss You continues being the number one prime time drama for three consecutive weeks.
