B.A.P Wins a Rookie Award in Germany

B.A.P was able to win a rookie award in Germany following its high ranks in the country's music charts.

On December 19 (local time), B.A.P won the Best New Male Artist award at the Remarkable Awards 2012. The award follows a rookie award the group has already won at the 2012 Melon Music Awards in Korea.

B.A.P has often been found on the top ranks of Germany's Asian Music Charts; the five tracks from its debut album Warrior even once managed to take over all the ranks from first to fifth in a row.

The group has also topped Germany's K-Pop Rookie Charts 2012, beating out a total of 50 new girl and boy groups that had made their debuts this year.

The Remarkable Awards 2012 met its third year this year. It is a ceremony that emphasizes Korean trends in German music and television. Judges decide on the nominees based on the rankings of the Germany Asian Music Charts, and the final winner is decided on through a fan vote.
