Yoon Shi Yoon recites old texts and speaks in dialect on 'Strong Heart'

Yoon Shi Yoon appeared in a talk show for the first time in three years and talked about his unique upbringing.

The actor made an appearance on the December 25 broadcast of SBS' Strong Heart in order to promote his upcoming tvN drama Flower Boys Next Door with Park Shin Hye, Kim Ji Hoon and Go Kyung Pyo.

He managed to show off many new things about himself, speaking in dialect with MBLAQ's Mir and revealing that he was brought up by his grandparents when his parents were busy working.

He surprised many by showing he was able to recite from memory a section of an old text about filial behavior.

Park Shin Hye said about Yoon Shi Yoon, "He was very unique from the start. I felt like he could have been the object of a study. He was very polite, and kind toward adults."

The other members of his cast agreed, saying, "He was able to become the Yoon Shi Yoon he is now thanks to his grandmother's strict ways."

Netizens commented, "He has so many different sides to him," "He goes from pure boy to stupid" and "I can't wait to see him act."

Flower Boys Next Door will air its first episode on January 7.
