SNSD's Yuri, Hyoyeon to MC 'M Countdown' This Week

SNSD's Yuri and Hyoyeon have been selected to be the first MCs of Mnet's M Countdown this year.

Mnet confirmed on January 3 that both SNSD members would be serving as special MCs for the day's M Countdown episode.

The show's producers shared that Yuri and Hyoyeon have been selected because they were both born in the year of the snake, as is 2013.

Since the departure of MC Lee Hong Gi of FT Island M Countdown has been utilizing specials MCs on a weekly basis. A new permanent MC is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The January 3 episode will also feature SNSD's first music show comeback.
