IU, Jo Jeong Seok in Discussion to Join KBS Drama, 'You're the Best Lee Soon Shin'

IU and Jo Jeong Seok have been offered their first leading television drama roles of their acting career.

Both Iu and Jo Jeong Seok are in final discussion to join as the leads of KBS' upcoming weekend drama You're the Best Lee Soon Shin.

Though a final contract has not been signed, both actors and the drama's production are said to be in positive discussion, making it highly possible both stars will act in their first starring roles for a television drama.

In the drama, a girl named Lee Soon Shin from a rural island village moves up to Seoul and meets an honest and hardworking businessman and becomes a star. Should they take up the roles, IU is expected to take up the role of Lee Soon Shin while Jo Jeong Seok would play the business man.

The drama is planning to kick off production late next month with the drama targeting an April premiere.
