Shin Dong Wook is Continuing to Positively Battle His CRPS

Actor Shin Dong Wook has let fans know he's still courageously and positively battling his disease.

Previously, Shin Dong Wook made headlines after it was reported he was battling CRPS, a serious disease with symptoms that include extreme pain, swelling and changes in the skin.

In the January 16 episode of SBS' One Night of TV Entertainment, the entertainment news show gave an update on the actor who has been battling the disease since 2010.

As a medical expert on the show reiterated, CRPS patients feel continual pain beyond anything one could possibly imagine and commonly experience pain at the highest level on a pain scale of 16 levels.

As the show reported, since recently catching the attention and well wishes of the public, the actor recently posted pictures and wrote an update through his fan cafe saying, “I'm currently going through rehabilitation therapy. I will make sure to return as an actor as though nothing happened.”

The included pictures showed the actor remaining in positive spirits as he continued to valiantly battle his illness.
