DBSK's Max Changmin Will Receive Newcomer of the Year Award in Japan

TVXQ (DBSK)'s Max Changmin has been recognized for his acting in Japan.

On January 22, the official homepage for the upcoming 36th Japanese Academy Awards announced the ceremony's schedule and Max Changmin as the recipient of the Newcomer of the Year award.

Max Changmin was awarded for his role as the North Korean spy Momo in the 2012 Japanese movie, Fly With the Gold. Though Max Changmin has appeared in television dramas in the past, Fly With the Gold was his first movie role.

The 36th annual Japanese Academy Awards will take place at the Tokyo Grand Prince Hotel on March 8.
