'The Berlin File' Tops the Box Office on Its First Day

The Berlin File took over the box office on the day of its official premiere.

According to the Korean Film Council's Compiled Ticket Computer Network on January 31, The Berlin File gathered an audience of 270,835 on its first day, January 30, marking the biggest opening score of 2013.

A rep from CJ Entertainment stated, "The Berlin File recorded the biggest opening day score out of all other films that premiered in January and February. We believe it will continue on to be a success considering the effects of its high booking rates, the expectations shown toward it and word of mouth following its screenings. Critics have said The Berlin File is a wellmade film that marks an achievement as a Korean action film, and we're thankful for the evaluations."

The Berlin File is an action film starring big names such as Ha Jung Woo, Han Seok Gyu, Ryu Seung Bum and Jun Ji Hyun.
