Is SNSD's Yoona the Richest Female Idol?

SNSD Yoona spoke out on SBS Strong Heart on February 5 regarding the rumor of her being one of the richest idols.

MC Boom brought up the topic of 'The Wealthiest Girls', putting spotlight on Girls' Generation (SNSD) by mentioning a news article that claimed Yoona's income to be 4 billion won (~3,670,000 USD) for the first half of the year.

Yoona responded, “I read the article as well, but the information is false. 4 billion won for the first half means 8 billion won for the entire year. That's just nonsense.”

She continued, “I mean, it didn't feel so bad to read the article but it's not true. I just let it go, but it did bring some unwanted situations.”

Meanwhile, Taeyeon revealed her recent purchase on a house with three bathrooms while Tiffany shared her new pink compact car.

Tiffany added, “Many think that SNSD makes a ton of money, but that really isn't the case.”
