Wonder Girls' Sunye and her husband James Park left for Canada this morning.
On the morning of February 7, Sunye and James Park left through the Incheon International Airport for Canada. Sunye plans to live for the time being not as a singer, but as a normal wife.
The two appeared at the airport at 7:50 a.m. (local time) in order to catch the 10 a.m. Korean Air line headed to Canada. The two had been brought to the airport in a car JYP Entertainment had provided, and continued to sport giant, happy smiles on their faces as they talked.
James Park held Sunye's bags, and took care of Sunye as they walked into the gates.
The couple appeared in comfortable styles for the long flight. Sunye had a pair of glasses on instead of makeup, and wore a black vest on black jeans and ankle boots. James Park also had a vest and jeans on. They both had their wedding rings on their fingers.
Sunye had to wait 40 minutes in order to take her dog with her to Canada.
After checking in, Sunye met with press and said, "I want to thank all those who helped with my marriage. I don't know when it will be, but if I do return I'll make sure I've become a better person."
When asked whether she had a good night's sleep, she answered, "I didn't."
She seemed tired, but her happy grin never left her face.
To another question asking whether she's happy, she merely smiled her happy smile.
She also added nothing had been decided when asked whether she would be returning to Korea in May.
Sunye wed James Park on January 26. The couple left for their honeymoon to the Maldives and returned on February 2. Sunye then performed for the last time before her departure as a member of the Wonder Girls on February 5 at the closing ceremony for the 2013 Pyeongchang Winter Special Olympics. She plans to go on hiatus as a Wonder Girls member and start to live her life as a normal wife.
