Hwang Jung Eum Advises Girl Group Actresses

Hwang Jung Eum greeted press at a media conference for SBS drama Incarnation of Money on February 20 and gave advice to girl group idols seeking to start acting career.

Formerly a member of the girl group Sugar, Hwang Jung Eum said, “You need luck and many helping hands in order to achieve a successful acting career.”

Hwang Jung Eum is one of the most successful actresses originating from a girl group, who paved her way as a singer turned actress through starring in many sitcom and dramas including High Kick Through the Roof, Giant, and Full House 2 to name a few.

Hwang Jung Eum continued to share, “You need to do what you enjoy doing as well as finding what is right for you. I realized my passion for acting during High Kick. You tend to do well when you get compliments and with director Kim Byung Wook encouraging me, I had fun acting. And because it was fun, I was able to achieve good results.”

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung Eum is spending her days filming for Incarnation of Money.
