Will Kim Hye Soo and Oh Ji Ho manage to return the old fame to KBS' Monday, Tuesday dramas?
Kim Hye Soo and Oh Ji Ho have been confirmed as the leads of KBS' upcoming drama, Come Back Miss Kim. The drama is Kim Hye Soo's first in two years and four months, and Oh Ji Ho's first in three years.
Come Back Miss Kim is a remake of a popular Japanese drama titled Haken's Dignity, which aired in 2007. It is about how a dispatch worker shows skills that surpasses all other workers'. It was much loved for its star cast and for addressing the social problems surrounding dispatch workers.
The Korean version of the drama is also expected to point out the problems surrounding contract workers and dispatch workers in Korean society with Kim Hye Soo and Oh Ji Ho.
The content matter and star cast doesn't mean the drama will have it easy. Despite the high expectations, the drama will have to struggle through difficulties brought on by its time slot. KBS' Monday, Tuesday dramas have recently been declining in popularity; Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek is currently airing but has failed to woo viewers.
Come Back Miss Kim will premiere in April following the conclusion of Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek.
