Infinite's Woo Hyun and Lucia Release 'Cactus'

Infinite's Woo Hyun has released his first duet with the female musician Lucia.

The duet single Cactus was released on February 27.

Cactus already has two versions: Epitone Project's version that focuses on strings and another version by Lucia emphasizing acoustics, but the new version adds even more color to the song.

A rep from Woo Hyun's agency Woollim Entertainment said, "Woo Hyun often took to listening to Lucia's Cactus recently. He chose to request a duet because he thought his voice went well with the song, and Lucia also took up the offer without hesitation."

The song is a part of the re;code project, which attempts to mix together indie and major music. Geeks and SISTAR Soyou's Officially Missing You, Too was also a part of the project. As its predecessor has been so successful on the charts, the new song is expected to follow in its footsteps.

Woo Hyun managed to show off a neater side to his voice through the song, previously only heard through Infinite's powerful music, and proved he was one of the few idol singers that can take up any genre thrown his way. His perfect harmony with Lucia also garnered praise.

Infinite plans to hold its 2013 Infinite Gathering on March 1. Lucia most recently held her first exclusive concert First in January 2013. She is currently preparing for a new mini album to be released in the spring.
