After being the talk of the town, Kara's Han Seung Yeon apologized for the behavior of the Kara members on MBC's Radio Star.
On September 5, Han Seung Yeon left a long post on her twitter. Her apology read as follows:
“After worrying about how to express this heavy heart all day, I am posting something now. First off, we want to apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable with us as guests on Radio Star.
We are reflecting on the fact that we showed unprofessional behavior due to our personal issues. We're very sorry and thankful to the Radio Star MCs and Park Jin Young sunbaenim, who helped us during and after the broadcast despite our shortcomings.
We will do our best to show a brighter and hardworking Seung Yeon, Hara, and Ji Young.”
Yoon Jong Shin, who is one of the MCs on Radio Star also apologized on his Twitter, saying, “I believe that their tears were the most honest answers of all. As always, we were vicious.. and if anyone deserves to be cursed at, it would be us, who were being mischievous. Not everyone can accept the questions with wit and laughter. They must have gone through a lot of hardships. It's my fault, since I was the most eager one. I'm sorry^^.”
One of the writers for the program also spoke up about Kara.
Kim Tae Hee wrote, “The Kara that I've seen is exceptionally respectful and capable of doing good variety compared to other girl groups – Idols to be fond of! There were some emotional moments during the filming of Radio Star, but they immediately began smiling and I can't be more thankful for the girls for doing their best to keep things fun. Don't curse at them! They are kind and beautiful kids.”
