The Korean version of Japan's popular drama, Nodame Cantabile received a new title and will soon be greeting fans on the smallscreen.
On August 18, the production company Group Eight stated, "The Korean version of Nodame Cantabile will be Tomorrow Cantabile. The name of the main character, Nodame, will be Seol Nae Il (Nae Il means Tomorrow in Korean)." The role will be played by Shim Eun Kyung.
KBS' new drama, Tomorrow Cantabile is about a group of young people who passionately dream about succeeding in the world of classical music.
"There's a symbolic reason to why the female main character's name is Nae Il," said Group Eight. "It expresses the new world of music that 4D character, Seol Nae Il experiences after meeting the male character, Cha Yoo Jin (Joo Won).
Tomorrow Cantabile is receiving much attention for its top of the top cast, which include Joo Won, Shim Eun Kyung, Baek Yoon Sik, Go Kyung Pyo, Park Bo Gum, and more.
It will air in October.
