Remember the furry overalls and gloves in H.O.T's ever-so-relevant ‘CANDY’? Or perhaps you preferred SHINHWA's edgier style in ‘T.O.P.’? If you missed or did not have the chance to experience the glorious days of K-pop in the 90s, join EXO on a time trip in their latest MNET variety show EXO 90:2014.
Set to debut this Friday, the one-hour show aims to connect the start of the Korean wave with the present by having EXO explore '90s music and culture with K-Pop pioneers. The first two episodes will put the focus on H.O.T and G.O.D respectively.
One of the highlights that fans can look forward to is EXO re-enacting popular '90s MVs and showing off their different charms.
At EXO 90:2014's press conference held yesterday in CJ E&M Center, Seoul, EXO expressed their excitement in being a part of the show.
Leader Suho commented, "From young, we have dreamt of being K-pop singers, so we hope that through this show, we can feel our seniors' works once again. Maybe this is also the best opportunity to meet our K-Pop seniors?”
