Super Junior’s Kangin

What reportedly happened: Super Junior member Kangin was sent to the military after being involved in a two incidents: a bar fight that grew into an assault case and DUI plus hit-and-run.

The aftermath: With his image smeared in the eyes of many, his company chose to send him for the mandatory service sooner rather than later.

Our two cents: Perhaps sending in him early was a good decision – with fellow member Kim Heechul and leader Leeteuk serving the nation, the member’s return last year was a much-needed addition to the dwindling numbers of the group.
