What reportedly happened: Singer IU uploaded a photo of herself with Super Junior member Eunhyuk. She quickly deleted the photo, but not before eagle-eyed netizens spread the picture like wildfire.

The aftermath: Netizens quickly assumed the worst and slammed the two for their “relationship”. IU’s company claimed that the two were “friends” but Eunhyuk’s company remained silent on the entire matter. The matter blew over quickly after he was snubbed on variety shows. IU laid low for a while, not making appearances as per usual.

Our two cents: While the two’s relationship – or lack thereof – remains highly debatable, idols dating should be no surprise to fans. While they are public figures, fans sometimes forget that they are people too.
