Jang Keun Suk has slowly been revving up for his promotions in Japan recently, and on May 28, he finally got to count down to one of his biggest events of the month, the release of his new studio album.
On May 28, the actor held a countdown showcase for his second studio album in Japan, Nature Boy, in Tokyo.
The event was held for free, with fans who got tickets through a lucky draw they entered by reserving a copy of his album. Jang Keun Suk kicked off the show with Nature Boy, one of the double main singles of his album.
He counted down to the release of his album near midnight with his fans, and fanfared the arrival of the new day.
In the middle of the showcase, he gave his fans a treat by sitting down to talk about what happened while shooting his music video and recording for his album.
Though the event started late for the countdown, about 500 fans weren't able to make it in because so many fans crowded the venue to claim a seat out of the 2,500 seats available. At this, Jang Keun Suk held another showcase for those fans who didn't make it in the first time late into the night.
Nature Boy and Indian Summer, the promotional singles of the album, are songs designed to blow away the hot summer and emphasize Jang Keun Suk's charms.
The performance was perfected with the participation of the band Eastern Sidekick, drawing attention to what other musical developments Jang Keun Suk would have in store for the future.
The album contains a total of 11 tracks including Jang Keun Suk's self-written track Love Letter.
