The next time we attend an EXO concert, remind us to bring earplugs.

The screams that filled the Singapore Indoor Stadium hit deafening decibels before last night’s The Lost Planet gig even began. Not that we would have expected any different – the 8,000 EXO-L (the newly christened name of the fan club) in the arena, armed with their silver light sticks and iron lungs, love their boys.

After a dramatic intro video featuring the members bursting through rocks and running up trees like supernatural beings, the 11-piece group ascended from below the stage – to amplified cheers, of course – and delved into a haka war cry, followed by their debut single ‘MAMA’.

The rest of the two-hour gig seemed to go by in a blur (we guess time flies when you’re having fun?), with the atmosphere remaining strong until the very end when behind-the-scenes footage was flashed on the screens. Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, Luhan, Lay, Chen and Tao sang and danced to 19 tracks, but they made attendees go just as crazy just by saying “hi” and “I love you” during the chit-chat sessions.
