Super Junior has come a long, long way since their debut in 2005. Today, the boys are known as the Kings of the Hallyu Wave, enjoying near unparalleled popularity in K-pop and performing in sold-out concerts literally all over the world, from their native South Korea to South America.

Thankfully, life hasn’t been all about work, work and work for the busy bunch. During a press conference before their SUPER SHOW 5 concert here last night (attended by members Siwon, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Sungmin and Kangin), Siwon said that while their overseas trips in the past were limited to just hotels, concert halls and airports, these days the boys are trying to relax a little.

“We go out and experience different things in each country, whether it’s the food or anything else that’s unique to the place,” he elaborated. “We want to have more good memories of each place we visit.”

The group did just that when they dropped by Singapore two days ago. Eunhyuk raved about our famous pepper and chilli crabs, declaring the signature dishes as “better than energy drinks”.
