Kim Sung-min, 39, marries his dentist

Kim Sung-min was married to his dentist in a small ceremony early last week, according to local media reports on Saturday.

The 39-year-old television actor married Lee Han-na, 42, head of a Gangnam dental clinic and television personality, in front of family and close friends.

The bride has frequently appeared on television to give dental health advice, and indeed, the couple first met six months ago when Kim came in for dental work.

Singer Wangbae, a friend of Kim’s, tweeted photos he said he received from the groom.

“Congratulations, Sung-min, on your secret wedding,” Wangbae said in the tweet. “Thank you for sending me the photos. When I have a problem with my teeth, I will call you.”

Kim was arrested on drug charges back in 2010, but that is all but forgotten in the public consciousness as he made an impressive comeback late last year in the JTBC drama “Can We Get Married?”

And for the actor, the answer to that question was apparently “yes, indeed.”
