xinmsn checks out the list of staples in Korean dramas that keep viewers coming back for more
Dream pairings
Have you ever watched a drama, wishing with all your heart that two characters would find their happily ever after, against all odds? Unless the two are the leading couple, chances of it occurring are slim. Fans’ hopes of having their dream pairings sometimes get a second chance in a whole different drama.
In The Moon That Embraces the Sun, some fans rooted for a happy ending for child actors Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun. So Hyun, being the second leading lady, would later end up married to Jin Gu’s character, but only in name.
The two were given a second chance in Missing You, where the two once again played the younger versions of their characters. With Missing You still airing, viewers wonder whether the two will finally be able to find reel love.
