Girls' Generation
Comeback: January 1

After a 14-month hiatus, Girls' Generation is back on Korean turf as they performed the title track from their latest album, I Got A Boy, for the first time on a comeback special "Romantic Fantasy" which was broadcasted on December 31.

The group's fourth album was preceded by a single titled Dancing Queen, which was followed by the digital release of "I Got A Boy" on January 1, after SM Entertainment uploaded teasers and short video interview clips over the past week. The title track's accompanying music video was published on the same day.

Since releasing "The Boys" in 2011, Girls' Generation has been focusing their career on the Japanese market with new singles and an album, while leader Taeyeon and her two members, Tiffany and Seohyun, set off on their own as sub-unit TaeTiSeo (TTS) last year.
