Jointly organised by one of South Korea’s biggest broadcast stations, MBC, and Singapore-based Fatfish Entertainment, MBC Korean Music Wave 2013 in Singapore (KMW in short) has been crowned as the largest ever multi-band concert to be held on our shores.
xinmsn was invited to the highly anticipated press conference in Seoul yesterday, where the star-studded show was announced to take place on Nov 16 at Gardens by the Bay.
After much online hype and widespread speculations, the line-up consisting of nearly 70 Hallyu artistes was finally revealed – SHINee, EXO, 2PM, 2AM, FT Island, B1A4, Teen Top, B.A.P, KARA, Sistar, miss A, IU, 4Minute, and “mystery superstar MCs” (who will be revealed next month). These groups will perform in front of an estimated 16,000-strong crowd in Singapore.
At the press conference yesterday, members of miss A, B1A4 (with the absence of Jinyoung and Sandeul) and Teen Top were excited to return to Singapore and perform as “South Korea’s representatives”.
