Aung San Suu Kyi in India

Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi will meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday, while on a landmark visit to New Delhi.

The meeting comes after Ms Suu Kyi warned India not to get carried away by the startling reforms across its border.

Ms Suu Kyi was a student in New Delhi in the 1960s where her mother served as an ambassador.

She's paying her first visit to India in 25 years.

India was once Ms Suu Kyi's staunchest supporters.

But it sought engagement with the military leaders in the 1990s.

Now with the political changes taking place in Myanmar, will there be a change in India's position?

938LIVE's Mubin Sa'adat posed this question to Dr Maitrii Aung-Thwin from the National University of Singapore.
