Balotelli scores on Milan debut and Lakers beat the Pistons by 1 point

The Los Angeles Lakers allowed an 18-point lead to be cut down to just 1, as they struggled to beat Detroit 98-97.
In Michigan this morning, Pau Gasol scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the visitors while Kobe Bryant added 18.
Kobe made a 3-point play for the Lakers to help his team claim their 5th triumph in 6 games.

Mario Balotelli scored twice on his debut as Milan went on to beat Udinese 2-1.
Having joined the former Serie A champions from Manchester City last week, the Italian striker immediately proved to be an instant sensation with the home fans at the San Siro
Stadium this morning.
With the win, Milan are in 4th place and 12 points behind Juventus.
The league leaders were themselves 2-1 winners in Chievo.
And Juve hold a 3-point lead over Napoli.
