Malaysia's opposition alliance, Pakatan Rakyat or PR, held a massive rally on Saturday.

It ended peacefully, with both PR and the ruling Barisan Nasional or BN coalition claiming credit for it.

The PR said without police intervention, its rallies would be peaceful while the BN said its policies and reforms ensured all sides act with responsibility and restraint
