A Chinese fighter jet has crashed in a southern Chinese city, sparking a fire that injured at least four people.
The fighter plane belonging to the Chinese air force crashed while on a training exercise this morning near the airport in Shantou city in Guangdong province.
The plane ploughed into a residential building, resulting in injuries to four people.
The pilot was able to parachute safely to the ground
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
