Cycling War of Bodies Continues

In cycling,

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has denied having agreed to work with the International Cycling Union (UCI) on a truth and reconciliation process.

The UCI disbanded its Independent Commission investigating the Lance Armstrong drugs scandal earlier this week.

Instead, they would set up a "Truth and Reconciliation Commission".

UCI President Pat McQuaid said, " This was the best way to examine the culture of doping in cycling and to clear the air so that cycling can move forward."

But WADA chief John Fahey has angrily denied the claims, saying he was disappointed that the UCI would choose to release a statement instead of opening dialogue between the two bodies.
