In English football news,
Everton's Phil Jagielka has signed a new contract with the club.
After penning a 2-year extension to his current deal, the Toffees defender is now contracted at Goodison Park until June 2017.
The Toffees signed Jagielka from Sheffield United in July 2007 and the 30 year old has featured in every league game for the club this season.
Tottenham Hotspur have signed defender Zeki Fryers from Belgian club Standard Liege.
England youth full-back Fryers quit Manchester United to join Liege just 6 months ago, but he's been lured back to the EPL by Tottenham's offer.
The 20-year-old will initially link up with Tottenham's development squad as he looks to win a place in boss Andre Villas-Boas's first-team plans.
In English football,
Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is expected to complete his move to West Ham today, just in time for tomorrow's FA Cup tie with Manchester United at Upton Park.
The 31-year-old is set to rejoin his former club on an 18-month contract.
Cole has struggled to impress at Anfield, following a free transfer move from Chelsea in 2010.
And Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says, this will be a terrific move for Cole.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants Theo Walcott to sign a longterm deal with the Gunners.
The England striker's contract at the London-based club is expiring at the end of this season.
And Wenger is looking to tie up his current players, before looking for new talent.

South Africa appear to be on their way to a convincing victory, in their 1st Test against New Zealand in Capetown.
The Kiwis were all out for just 45 in their 1st innings.
South Africa batted on at the start of the 2nd day before declaring 347-8.
New Zealand closed the 2nd day on 169-4 , still trailing South Africa's 1st innings total of 133 runs.
