Six suspects held in India in connection with a gnag rape are reported to have been charged with murder.
The victim was brought to Mount Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday for treatment, in very critical condition.
Her condition took a turn for the worse late on Friday night and she died about 4.45 on Saturday morning.
If convicted. the six suspects will face the death penalty.
A police spokesman in Neww Delhi said a strong case against them is being prepared.
