The Sembawang Soccer Academy has been ordered by the High Court in Singapore, to pay more than $1.2 million to Italy-based Genova International Soccer School, for breach
According to court documents, both parties entered into an agreement 18 months ago, to conduct a football camp training stint in Italy for young Singapore players.
But following a series of failed promises and payments not being made to G-I-S-S, the Sembawang Soccer Academy was slapped with a lawsuit.
Neither a representative nor lawyer from the local Academy, showed up to defend the suit in court.
