Liverpool and Chelsea win their final games of 2012

Liverpool will end the year on a high and that's after this morning's 3-0 victory of Queens Park Rangers.
At Loftus Road, Luis Suarez scored twice in the first 16 minutes, while Daniel Agger scored a 3rd goal for the visiting Reds within the half-hour mark.
And that's how it ended as Liverpool are now in 9th place and 7 points behind 4th ranked Arsenal.
Meanwhile over at Goodison Park,
It was Frank Lampard who led Chelsea to a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Everton.
The Toffees took the lead within 62 seconds through a long-range strike from Steven Pienaar.
But 34 year old Lampard scored twice in the 2nd half, to move the Londoners back up to 3rd place in the Premier League.
Chelsea's 4th successive league win under interim manager Rafael Benitez, has lifted them to within 4 points of 2nd -placed Manchester City and with a game in hand.
Miguel Angel Jimenez will be out of action for a minimum of 3 months.
And that's after breaking his leg in a skiing accident on Saturday.
The 48 year old was skiing in Sierra Nevada, before losing control and fell to the ground.
Jimenez underwent an immediate operation in Malaga and requires 3 to 5 months to recover.
Over in cricket action,
Nasir Jamshed hit an unbeaten 101 as Pakistan beat India by 6 wickets in Chennai, in the 1st game of a 3-match one-day international series.
India were reduced to 29-5 in the 10th over.
That's before Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit 3 sixes in an undefeated 113 in his team's score of 227-6.
And left-hander Nasir made his second ODI ton, as Pakistan won with 11 balls remaining.
