In European football action, 

Manchester United are through to the last 16 of the Champions League, after scoring 3 goals in the last 10 minutes against Sporting Braga. 

In this morning's Group H encounter in Portugal, the Red Devils were trailing 1-0 when Alan scored for the home side in the 49th minute. 

But United came back with the equaliser from Robin Van Persie on the 80th minute mark. 

4 minutes later, Wayne Rooney scored from the penalty spot while Javier Hernandez added a 3rd goal at the stroke of fulltime. 

And with the 3-1 win, United have 12 points from 4 games. 

FC Cluj and Galatasaray are on 4 points, with Braga on 3. 

Cluj and Galatasaray ended in a 3-1 win for the visiting Turkish club as well. 

Meanwhile, 

Barcelona wasted their first chance to reach the last 16 after a surprise defeat to Celtic. 

Playing in Scotland, Barca lost 2-1 after Victor Wanyama scored with a first-half header. 

And Tony Watt stroked home on 83 minutes in a famous win for the Scottish champions. 

With the loss thou, the Spanish club still lead 2nd-placed Celtic by 2 points. 

And Benfica beat Spartak Moscow 2-0 in the other group clash to remain 3rd in the group. 

Elsewhere, 

Shakhtar Donetsk could have advanced with a win in Group E. 

But they lost 3-2 at Chelsea instead. 

And Juventus won 4-0 at home to Nordsjaelland.

But the Turin club remain 3rd on 6 points with the Ukraine and English sides both on 7 points each. 

And finally in Group F, 

Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro scored a 15-minute first-half hat-trick to help hosts Bayern Munich thrash Lille 6-1. 

With the win, the Germans top the group with 9 points alongside Valencia,who were 4-2 winners at home to BATE Borisov.

Shifting gears to MotoGP news, 

And Max Biaggi has announced his retirement from the sport. 

As a former world champion in the 250cc category, the Italian went on to finish 2nd in both the 500cc and MotoGP categories, before turning his talents to the world Superbike 
series.

The 41 year old last competed in MotoGP in 2005 and his career best finish was 2nd place in the overall riders standings in 2002. 

And since 2007, Biaggi's been racing in the Superbike series and he won the overall championship 3 seasons later.
