Singapore Dec exports seen down 7.6% year-on-year, tech demand weak
Singapore's non-oil domestic exports, or NODX last month are expected to have fallen, from a year earlier, hurt by continued weak demand for its key electronics shipments.
An economists' poll by Reuters showed that exports are likely to have dropped 7.6 percent in December.
But on a month-on-month basis, exports probably have expanded 6.2 percent.
Asian exports are struggling to gain traction as Europe remains mired in recession and an economic recovery in the US is patchy, even as China's economy picked up late last year.
