Singapore December banking lending up 1.9%
Business for banks in Singapore continues to be brisk.
Total bank lending rose 1.9 percent last month, from November.
Data from the central bank showed that bank lending activities came in at nearly $491 billion in October .
On-year, bank lending grew 17 percent.
Loans and advances in Asian currency units, or ACU, edged up.
The ACU market refers to loans denominated in currencies other than the Singapore dollar.
