Accident kills brothers


Two boys died after they were hit by a cement truck near Dunman Secondary School, at a traffic crossing at Tampines Street 45. 

The Singapore Civil Defence Force, SCDF said it received a call around 5.45pm. 

The SCDF told Mediacorp that the victims who are brothers were pronounced dead at the scene 

The boys were aged 10 and 13. 

The 56-year-old driver has been arrested, and his license has been suspended with immediate effect.

Police were still at the site of the accident at 9pm. 

Investigations are ongoing.
