UCI Disbands Commission
In cycling news,
The International Cycling Union (UCI) has disbanded an independent commission to investigate their alleged involvement in the Lance Armstrong doping scandal.
The UCI pulled the plug on the commission they set up because both the World Anti-Doping Agency and the United States Doping Agency had refused to co-operate with its inquiries.
Any report it produced would thus be dismissed "as not being complete or credible".
It was an investigation by USADA that led to Armstrong being stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles.
