ONE Sinagpore

In 2012, there are a number of ways you can become involved . . .

- Welcome the Peace Boat to Singapore as we unveil The World We Want mural (April)
- Every ONE Can, a grocery warehouse sale in support of our neighbors in need (May)
- Panel Discussions and Film Series
- Sand Castles with the Stars (October, tbc)
- Golden Poo Awards, to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis (November)
- Volunteer! with The Cuff Road Project, local food aid programmes and more (year-round)
- Become a ONE (SINGAPORE) member

At a micro level, each and every one of us can make a contribution, each and every one of us can help build a better world. Volunteering, shopping at a social enterprise, supporting a charity, signing a petition for a cause you believe in, sponsoring a child's education, planting a tree . . . . these are all ways that individuals can contribute to their community and make the world a better place.

At a macro level, we also need good policies . . . . like writing off old debts, more and better aid, fair trade, gender empowerment, investing in health and education, innovative forms of financing . . . because the right policies can impact the lives of millions, transforming the hopes and dreams of an entire generation.

Since starting up in 2005, ONE (SINGAPORE)'s supporters have joined millions of people around the globe to call on world leaders to honour their commitments to end poverty and support the Millennium Development Goals.
