Polling Day for The Hougang By-Election was on 26 May. The candidates contesting the by-election were Mr Desmond Choo for the People’s Action Party and Mr Png Eng Huat for the Workers’ Party. Nominated MP and Assistant Professor Eugene Tan of the Singapore Management University and Mr PN Balji, a media consultant, joined 938LIVE’s Bharati Jagdish and Joel Chua in studio for a live analysis of the campaign as well as day’s proceedings.
