He’s best known as the ‘King of One Liners’ in the Malay entertainment industry and especially on radio. Described as the ‘New Man’ in broadcasting, Adi Rahman is singled out and admired for his ability to switch from serious journalism to being a witty presenter in a wink. Adi Rahman has also done numerous TV and radio commercials, foremost being his TV commercial for Courts (Mandarin and English), Singtel (Mandarin), Ministry of Manpower, MINDEF and many more. For three years in a row, he’s ingenuity in radio ad productions has earned him ‘Best Commercial’ award in the local Spore Radio Awards (SRA). He was also one of the hosts for APM from 2003 to 2006. His stint on local TV talent quest programme uplifts the standard ‘funkiness’ for his capacity to integrate seriousness and fun at the same time. His latest passion and endeavor is to develop a humorous yet educational ‘lifelong learning programme’ for the society. As an experienced radio personality, Adi Rahman has explored numerous grounds while constantly injecting fresh elements to his shows.
